I'm Mikael "Elias",

I specialize in creative and fine-art portraits. My studio is located in Sibiu, Romania.

I strive to create authentic and memorable imagery with a balance between elegance and raw emotion. When a project lets me have more creative freedom I try to bring a note of curiosity and the unexpected.

I'm drawn to the infinite shapes and expressions that the human body and face can take, and I place great value on styling, esthetics and posing. I try not to become too obsessed with developing a particular "style" as I would find this too limiting. Interesting things usually happen when you're outside your comfort zone.
